Judges
- Stress the importance of the Book of Allah SWT in memorization, tajweed, and tilawah.
- Provide an appropriate educational environment for students who are goal driven to excel in the memorization and tajweed of the Holy Quran.
- To boost the spirit of positive competition among members of the Muslim American and Canadian Muslim communities in caring for the Holy Quran.
- To highlight the role of the Muslim Societies in providing an encouraging environment for Islamic educational activities.
- To develop Quranic spiritual, mental, and performing skills of the young Muslim generation. To promote the Quranic education in the Muslim-American and Canadian-Muslim communities.

Registration
***There is a $10 Fee to participate in the Qur'an Competition.

- Registration will open July 10, 2024
- Last Date to register is December 1st, 2024
- Participants must be an American Citizen or have a Green Card to take part in the competition.
- Participants are responsible for: hotel accommodations, food, transportation and all other related expenses.

- The 1 Juz' category is for participants of 12 years old and under.
- The contestant cannot participate in the same level as they competed in the previous years and won.
- Participants cannot participate in more than one level of the competition.
- Full-time Quran teachers and Imams cannot participate in the competition.
- The competition is open to all ages and genders.
- Participants who participate in the Quran Competition do not need to purchase an additional ticket to attend the MAS-ICNA Convention. (Participants will need to visit the registration booth and submit their Quran Competition Badge in order to receive a MAS-ICNA Badge).
- **The Whole Quran Category will consist of two rounds. The first round will take place via Zoom from Friday November 29th to November 30th 2024. The finalists of the first round will proceed to the second round held at the Hyatt Regency, McCormick Place on December 26 2024
Judging
- Participants' competition grade is comprised of 75% for memorization and 25% for recitation.
- If any contestant scores less than 60/100 in the total score he/she will automatically be disqualified.
- There are separate committees of judges for male and female participates.
- Only one person may accompany a participant if the participant wishes so.
- The Juz's must be consecutive.
Administrative
- Prizes will be given to the Quran Competition participants, as previously mentioned.
- *Anyone who participates in the 3 Juz'+ Tafseer Category in the Arabic language and wins in any of the places will receive an additional $500 to their monetary prize.
- There is a fee of $10 to participate in the Quran Competition. Participants must be registered before the DEADLINE of the competition to participate.
- The participant cannot negotiate the results of the judges. Winners will be announced at the MAS-ICNA Convention Friday December 27, 2024.
- If there are less than 7 registrants for a category the National Quran Competition USA president has the right to omit the category.
- The president reserves the right to dismiss, cancel and/or disqualify any participant without any liability at any time with immediate effect; this includes but is not limited to, any participant who tampers with the operation of the competition or competition site or violates the terms and conditions or any other applicable laws and regulations or provides false information.
